Now, Who is…
Hi! My name is W.G.S. Hasaranga known as Revenue Trader, and I’ve been trading forex profitably for little over 4 years now. Just like the many of the successful traders out there, I also start with the lots of failures.
During that time period, especially the first trading year, where I’m relatively new to the world of trading, I’ve tried a number of trading strategies (failed lots, succeeded at some). Funny thing is my first trading account is worth 10 bucks and after having two profitable trades, I was able to turn $10 into $100 and eventually turn $100 account into margin called. Yup, the trading account was blown away, and surprisingly enough, it was the first and last trading account that was blown away. Really, when consider starting trading capital, it wasn’t much but the experience was priceless.
At the moment I follow Software engineering degree while Trading forex for full-time. Since I’m in the software field, I’m always looking to automate trading stuff. One of the best trading product I developed was the Trend Reversal Identifier which helps to identify and catch the trend reversal without putting much effort. I lost more than 50% of my capital. Whenever I loose previously I immediately go to some youtube channel and learn some method, like after first month I learned macd, rsi, vwap etc(lagging indicator). After second month(again loosing) I learned Central pivot range(leading indicator). After third month(again loosing) I learned price action method and today I studied you.
